DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER - PRODUCTION

Job Description/Responsibilities
The Candidate would be responsible for supervising, developing and controlling all plant operations and related scheduling functions encompassing Steel Tube Mill, Fabrication, forging and Galvanizing activities. Managing the unit as a profit center with financial orientation, operational effectiveness, formulation of production plans, resource mobilization and managerial excellence would be prime responsibilities.

Desired Profile of the candidate
The ideal candidate should be Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with around 10 to 15 years of experience in relevant areas. Exceptional leadership profile, adherence to leading by examples, proactive communication and interpersonal skills, Sound financial acumen, team building competencies and demonstrated integrity are essential for the mentioned position. Drive initiatives, process owner for continuous improvement, lean manufacturing practices, optimization of resources, productivity enhancement would be required.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Job Description/Responsibilities
Would be responsible for :

(a) Corporate Planning & Systems

Involved in corporate planning during organizational restructuring at all levels.
Involved in formulation of various systems, policies, procedures, commensurate with the need of the company,
Involved in Financial projections of collaborations/joint ventures envisaged.

(b) Finance:

Preparation and submission of applications to Financial Institutions for financial assistance in form of Term Loans, Short Term Deposits and timely follow up for necessary sanctions, documentations and disbursements.
Procurement of Foreign Exchange Loans under different lines of credit and arranging guarantees from Financial Institutions for foreign currency loans in favour of foreign lenders.
Surplus Fund Management in terms of placement of inter corporate deposits to Corporate.

(c) Banking and Working Capital:

Preparation and appraisal of working capital proposal.
Fixing up arrangements of working capital.
Bill Discounting and L/C backed Bill discounting at competitive interest rates.
Arranging Letters of Credit and Bank Guarantee
Arranging Suppliers' Credit and Buyers' Credit
Placement of commercial papers
Liaisoning with Senior Officials of Banks, Financial Institutions, Finance Companies, Mutual Funds, etc.

(d) Accounts & Audit:

Finalization of accounts, divisional & branch accounting.
Attending statutory auditors, internal auditors
Stores/ Materials accounting.
Tax audit details preparation,
Computerized accounting.
Debtors management and credit control.
Accounting Standards and their implementation.
Insurance Portfolio.

(e) Taxation:

Personal taxation - employees
Filing of returns and attending tax authorities for assements and appeals.

(f) MIS Budgeting & Costing:

Costing - product and process
Budget preparation and Budgetary controls.

(g) Secretarial:

Statutory Compliances especially with the Companies and other security laws.
Secretarial Functions for Group Companies including, Inter-alia, responsibility for meetings (board/shareholders); statutory compliances (filing of forms/.returns); minutes and implementation of the resolutions and maintenance of registers, etc.

Desired Profile of the candidate
CA and CS with Post Qualification experience of 15 - 20 years in a Reputed Company, MBA in Finance would be desirable. Age not more than. 45 years. The incumbent should possess the following skill sets.

Strong conceptual understanding of Finance.
Team building and relationship management abilities.
Should have strong communication & interpersonal skills
A committed self-starter entrepreneur with solidity in his approach.

Job Description/Responsibilities
Costing, Budgeting & Commercial activities related to the production facility. Resource planning in terms of men, materials and money. Overall responsible for business development. Shall also be responsible for purchase/admn. related to the production unit. Handling legal matters, MIS, Statutory compliance, liasioning and material procurement shall form an integral feature of the responsibility profile.

Desired Profile of the candidate
CA, preferable with a postgraduate degree in Management. Additional qualification in law would be an added advantage. Candidates should possess around 10 - 15 years of experience in the entire gamut of accounts, costing, budgeting, procurement and legal matters. Strong commercial and legal acumen is an essential perquisite. Should processes strong communication and interpersonal skills.
